Samar Younes is a polymath artist, creative catalyst, and advisor to visionary leaders, and organizations, playfully interweaving cultural and artistic narratives, through the lens of wellbeing. Guided by a profound interplay of textures, materials, and inspirations, her work poetically blurs the lines between the various vernacular aesthetic-based disciplines by exploring them through each other's lens, craft and method interconnecting themes around humanity, planet, and technology.
An alumna of Central Saint Martins, Samar's diverse background spans architecture, visual communication, scenography, and decades in artistic direction, leading experiential retail design teams. Her pluri-disciplinary approach often reside at the intersection of art, fashion and architecture, fueled by an array of influences, to bring to life the emotional core of design strategies and concepts.

Samar’s current work focuses on design thinking, kaleidoscopic identities and futuring that restores the integrity of Eastern visual storytelling methods—methods historically extracted, repackaged, and appropriated by the West, only to be resold to the East as a Western construct. In response, Samar crafts unapologetically modern cultural narratives that shatter stereotypes and transcend social norms. With mischievous visual dialogues intermingled between humans, planets, and machines, she proposes nuanced, multi-dimensional futures that bridge cross-cultural perspectives, all through the lens of well-being

Known for a signature style that blends generative AI, artisanal intelligence, and neuroaesthetics, the work delves into the brain's aesthetic responses and the transformative impact of art and design on well-being. This focus shifts AI examination through the prisms of craft, culture, and design. Collaborating with artists and seasoned craftsmen, the aim is to nurture an intergenerational creative process that merges traditional methodologies and ancestral systems into imaginative avant-garde archival expressions.

Samar's monthly newsletter, "Imaginaolgy Dispatch" builds bridges between art, culture, innovation, and well-being. A recognized thought leader, juror, mentor, and speaker, her work has been featured in many notable publications, and podcasts. Her transformative course series, 'Imaginaology,' beckons individuals and organizations to turbocharge their creative and research processes. By fostering innovation through AI-enhanced generative creativity, the course serves as a multi-player ritual that seamlessly interpolates both past and future, human and machine intelligence.
